Lust is desire in excess, beyond healthy limits. One of the great challenges of this life is to direct & expand our desire toward God & limit our lust for the things of this world.

We are in the final week in our “One Month to Live” series. Pinch yourself. You are still alive! You see, the whole deal about this series is not to prepare you to die, but to prepare you to live! God has put you on the planet for a reason. As he gives you more days, months and years how can you live them with passion and fulfillment? How can you live so that in the ninth inning of your life, one month from now or many years from now, you have no regrets?

The third principle of learning to live fully and deeply is to develop a lifestyle of humble learning. In humility we learn to depend on God and obey him. We surrender in our weakness to experience his power and strength to really live.

Jesus loved completely, right up until the end of His life. He demonstrated that love when He took on the role of servant and washed the disciples’ feet. In the Great Commandment, Jesus said to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Loving completely involves acceptance, loving actions and forgiveness.
