When we live like a saint, there will be a clear contrast between us and the world. God needs us to be the contrast and counterpoint to an unsaintly world. The more vivid the contrast, the greater our light will shine into the darkness.

A saint reflects God through his or her words and actions. There are also words and actions that do not represent God. Our speech and behavior must in some way be shaped by God. May our words and actions be the very words and actions of Jesus.
