Daniel was called upon by God to deliver a message to the king, a message that was very unfavorable. How Daniel handled this opportunity is a great example for us as we learn to properly handle truth.

God is looking for humble servants who understand who they are in connection to Him. They must know how to respond to Him in spontaneous and obedient worship. In today’s story, God humbled an arrogant king by equipping Daniel to interpret God’s message. We, too, have the privilege of equipping ourselves to be interpreters of God’s message. May we deliver the message, no matter how difficult or unpopular.
