The church has always valued and honored “nice girls.” But God is calling women to be dangerous. We will take a quick tour of the Bible and look as some “dangerous women?” A dangerous woman is a woman who shows up with everything she is and joins the battle against whatever opposes the work of God in our world. A dangerous woman lives with passion, energy and dreams. Dangerous women are world changers.

Glen, I loved your message about women. It was very appropriate for Mother’s Day. I also liked the woman’s creed that Becky did.
However, when you tried to be PC and honor all mothers, all foster mothers, all want-to-be-mothers, etc. I think you missed the mark completely.
Thou shall honor YOUR mother and father. It is not about honoring all mothers as a “catchall” group.
The message should have been for members of the congregation to take a moment and honor THEIR mother. Dead or alive, close or far, on good terms or bad. We are pick up the phone, visit a gravesite, or just pray about the mom we just can ‘t seem to get along with.
For those that find it difficult, it could be a private talk no one else has to hear. Somehow in our own individual way, we must honor her.
It is not a husband’s job to honor his wife on Mothers Day. It is his job to teach his children to appreciate their mother. He should start wtih his own mother, letting his children be a witness to his example.
Do you not agree? I’d love to hear your response.
