The Gate is the entrance into a relationship with the great I AM, a relationship that provides… Protection, Provision, and Purpose for our lives. Jesus used a common object to reveal his own power and purpose. Now all that is left for us to do is to choose whether or not we will enter through the gate.

Light is essential to our daily lives; would we try to walk at night on a strange and unfamiliar path without some source of light? We do this as Christians every day. Let’s think about the contrast between light and darkness and what God’s Word has to say about both of them.
The greatest thing in life is to encounter the real Jesus. Jesus is God who has come to reveal Himself to us. He does this with seven unique pictures in the Gospel of John which are called the seven I AM statements. The first picture Jesus uses is that of bread. Jesus, the BREAD OF LIFE, is the One who satisfies our deepest hungers.

Sometimes we need to slow down and savor the flavor of the food. Christian meditation and memorization helps us do that in a spiritual meal. In meditation, we take time to really focus, dwell and deeply reflect on a passage or phrase from the Bible. It is in meditation of God’s Word that we discover the most profound personal messages God has for us. When we memorize God’s Word, we allow it to stay with us to shape and transform us continually.
