3, 2,1 BLAST OFF………………
We have left our home, Planet Earth, and joined the many others that
have gone before us to our new home and reality …. PLANET MOM!
We are entering a foreign territory, passing over Laundry Mountain,
going around Cape Chaos, passing the isles of Smiles and Sillies,
sailing through the Sea of Bliss and landing in the Sleepless Desert.
This is the life of Mothers of preschoolers, or MOPS! Our lives
change so dramatically from the “before children” stage to becoming
the mothers of young children. (MOPS is open to those with children from conception through kindergarten) As mothers of preschoolers we often feel that what we do each day can be mundane and routine and we can feel unappreciated. We often begin to question who we are as mothers and women and what our purpose really is and if we really make a difference. We believe that you will find the answers to these questions and so much more as you become involved in MOPS.
This year in MOPS we will be discovering the relationships we have as mothers of preschoolers and how those relationships change as we add children to them. Relationships with: ourselves, friends, spouse, children, extended family, and God.
Our goal is to support moms, no matter what lifestyle, background or experiences we are coming from, as we learn that we have all been uniquely chosen to be the mother of our children and what we do each day matters so much, not just today but for the future of our children and the world around them.
We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Check-in begins at 9.
Meetings run from 9-12.
While you are enjoying your time with other moms, your children are welcomed into the M♥PPETS program. The M♥PPETS are a group of volunteers who are excited to care for your little ones. While your child is in M♥PPETS they will enjoy stories, crafts, snacks and playtime! M♥PPETS check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.
