What are Life Groups About?
At Pantano, we call people to live the adventure of following Jesus. Jesus spent His time with a small group of devoted followers. They shared life together, encouraged one another, held each other accountable, and did some amazing things. Life Groups are a reflection of Jesus’ model for doing life—together with a purpose. We simply will not grow in our faith or achieve the life God calls us to on our own.
Our Life Group Model is Simple:
First, find a group that speaks to where you are. Perhaps it’s an interest, like scrapbooking or football; perhaps it’s a need, like a care, prayer, Bible Study or parenting group. Maybe it’s a group for singles or young marrieds. Maybe it’s about meeting people in your neighborhood.
Second, attend a few meetings and find a group that’s a great fit.
Finally, get involved, participate, share you journey, earn the right to speak into the lives of others and give them permission to speak into yours.
Even though the topics & activities are diverse, the purpose of every group is to help people live out the adventure of a lifetime-following Jesus well and to learn how to invite others to join in the journey.
How Can I Join a Life Group?

How Can I Start a Life Group or Become a Life Group Leader?
A Life Group can be started at any time during the year. To understand the expectations and process of becoming a Life Group Leader begin by reading Discipleship Through Life Groups, then fill out our online application. Once completed, you will be contacted to plan your next steps.
