Bill is currently serving as the Pathway Pastor or as he likes to call himself the Pastor of Fun! He oversees the process, tools and methods that help people to follow Jesus well. This includes our First Impressions team that helps people to feel welcome and make PCC their church home as well as our Life Development team that provides classes and training experiences to become disciples of Jesus. It also includes Local Outreach that connects people to Kingdom serving opportunities in our community that make a difference in our world. The Pathway team also oversees and manages our IT infrastructure including hardware, network and the church database as well as church-wide communications including the bulletin and our website (pccwired.org).
Bill has a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona and is a huge wildcats fan. He worked in the computer industry for 14 years including 11 years with Sun Microsystems before coming on staff at Pantano. Bill spent 8 years cramming in a 3 year Masters Degree in Divinity from the Phoenix Seminary. Bill is married to Robin Fisher who is the Administrative Assistant for the PCC Children's department. Bill and Robin do not have any children but have affectionately adopted the children of PCC and spend a lot of their time investing in them. Bill and Robin volunteered at PCC as the Elementary Department director for 6 years before coming on staff. Bill is also known as Captain Bill from playing the role of Captain on the Faith Boat for many years.
What you may not know about Bill is that he enjoys auto racing and does race is Honda S2000 in SCCA Solo or Autocross events in Tucson and around the country.
